Synopsis
Pathology is the scientific study of disease processes. It encompasses knowledge of functional and structural changes in the body both at a cellular and systemic level. An understanding of aetiology, pathogenesis and morphological change that occurs as a result of a disease are presented in this course. Key aspects of pathology as required in paramedic practice are addressed.
