Synopsis
The aim of this course is to provide a broad understanding of the procedures and processes, tools and techniques, strategies and tactics used for managing on-site construction production operations from contract formation to completion in a team environment focussing on issues related to transformation-flow-value issues, short-term pull/push schedules, subcontractor management, productivity enhancement, and knowledge areas connected with lean construction. Additionally, it covers on-site quality and safety management issues while also introducing building information modelling to understand its relevance to production management.
