UniSQ's Nepal and Himalayan Community Emergency Appeal

Supporting our Nepal and Himalayan community

Recent flooding and natural disasters have had a devastating impact on communities across Nepal and the Himalayan region. Many members of the UniSQ community have been directly affected, including students, staff, their families, and loved ones.

In response, UniSQ has established the Nepal and Himalayan Community Emergency Appeal to provide practical support to students and staff experiencing financial hardship as a result of this disaster. Through the generosity of our alumni, staff, partners, and wider community, we aim to provide timely assistance to those most affected.

At UniSQ, our strength lies in our community. Together, we can help our UniSQ students and staff navigate this difficult time.

Make a donation

100% of donations received by the Appeal will be applied to supporting eligible UniSQ students and staff affected by the disaster.
Gifts of $2 or more are fully tax deductible.*

Step 3: Click the 'Donate now' button. You will then be redirected to our online payment gateway to securely enter your credit card details to finalise the donation.

Step 4: Your receipt will be emailed to you automatically for your records.

Make a difference through giving

Funds raised through the appeal will be distributed to support eligible students and staff experiencing hardship as a result of the disaster.

Emergency living expenses
Help provide immediate financial assistance to students and staff facing unexpected living costs as a result of the disaster.
Temporary accommodation
Assist with short-term accommodation costs for students and staff who have been displaced or require emergency housing support.
Travel costs
Support essential travel expenses for those needing to reconnect with family, return home, or respond to urgent circumstances arising from the disaster.
Essential study or work-related expenses
Help students and staff access the tools, technology, equipment, and resources needed to continue their studies or work.
Family support arising from the disaster
Provide assistance to those supporting family members or dependants affected by the disaster and its ongoing impacts.
